Our Story
Jacque and Nic first met in 2016 at John Marshall High School. There, they both pursued theatre arts. Jacque was the actor on stage, while Nic was the techie off stage. In non-stop rehearsals and hanging out with friends, these two became inseparable and even closer through long distance texting when Nic spent the summer in Michigan. By that time, they knew they had become more than friends. They decided to take the leap and started dating. When the word got around in the theatre group, everyone knew it was a perfect match. Even their two theatre directors approved of the relationship.
From those early days in high school theatre to now build a life together, Jacque and Nic have always balanced each other out. Jacque is the planner and Nic is the builder. Their love has grown through every stage; literally on and off stages. And now they’re ready for the most important stage of all; marriage. As they say “I do”, they will continue to plan and build a beautiful life together.

Moon Shadow Haven is a stunning wedding and event venue set in the picturesque Hill Country of Texas, offering charming history, classic country vistas, and exclusive spaces for weddings, private gatherings, and other special occasions.
While the property might have a new name, Moon Shadow Haven, it’s popularity dates back almost 8,000 years and is rich in history. In fact, there are still flint stone and arrowheads strewn about left by the indigenous people, and every once in awhile a new one will wash up on the banks of Johnson Creek where you’ll also find remnants of wagon tracks that were once a part of the Old Spanish Trail. In the late 1870’s the Texas Rangers had an encampment directly behind where the cabins sit now.
With easy access to major highways and roads Moon Shadow Haven is only minutes away from popular cities like Fredericksburg and Boerne.
